Fatimah Aramide Salami’s Secret Garden Themed Baby Shower.
To celebrate the forthcoming arrival of her little man, Fatimah Aramide Salami threw herself this lovely Secret Garden Themed Baby Shower that had all sorts of elegant features that made it a sweet event for everyone!
Keeping her love for flowers, this gorgeous shower was decked out with beautiful floral arrangements, colorful shades of green and plenty of other scrumptious-looking goodies. It is obvious that much thought was put into the dessert table display as it coordinated perfectly with the color scheme and featured four cakes and a host of other sweets.
The menu centered around a brunch, two chefs were present on site which meant there was lots of food, constantly being refilled and kept fresh. The menu contained macaroni & cheese, sweet potatoes, diced brunch potatoes, grits, fried & baked chicken, assorted pastries, and both white and traditional sangria; everyone had plenty to choose from.
It was such a fun shower as guests got entertained with games such as Bobbing for Nipples, My Water Broke, Baby Bingo, Winner Takes All, and Baby Shower Musical Chairs.
“Seeing everything come together after several weeks of planning was an amazing feeling and I felt so blessed to be surrounded by loving and supportive family and friends.” Fatimah said “One of the biggest highlights was the gender reveal of my baby. We revealed the gender by dropping a bath bomb in a container of water. The water started off white and then eventually turned pink or blue; indicating the color for the sex of the baby. Glory be to God we’re having a boy!” (See photos and video below)
The mommy-to-be is looking forward to meeting her baby for the first time. “The anticipation of meeting my son makes these nine months of carrying him worth every minute. I still can’t believe I’m having a son, I’m still getting used to saying that and I look forward to formally meeting him in the next few weeks to come. It’s an amazing feeling to know I’ll be bringing a bundle of immense blessings into this world soon by the special grace of God” she said.
