My Bump Story:
Omobolade Morayolebi Osinfade Bump Story.
New mama to a baby boy Omobolade Morayolebi Osinfade. Particularly, who welcomed her adorable bud this past March, took time to share some of her pregnancy highs and lows with us in her bump story! Enjoy
What was your first reaction when you found out you were pregnant?
Generally, it was Epic! I never miss my cycle, and it was now a day late so I immediately took a stripe test, and was super excited to see a positive result. Well, I still went for a blood test to confirm it, and then I made it as a surprise for my husband.
Your funniest memory over the 9 months?
For instance, my funniest memories were the weird cravings. Besides, you wouldn’t believe what I craved for! Also, I tried predicting the sex via the Chinese calendar on the internet before going to the hospital to actually find out the sex of our baby. For me, pregnancy brain was incredibly real, I had a few hilarious instances. Also, I attended Lamaze Classes, and that was fun too!
Which trimester was easiest for you and which one proved most difficult?
My easiest trimester was the third as I was more hyperactive and of course, I was nearing the end so was really looking forward to meeting my adorable bud. Moreover, I had a difficult first trimester, morning sickness was awful and I was constantly tired.
Did you have any maternity wear hacks?
Comfort is key during pregnancy, so dress as comfortably as you can. Not shabby but super comfortable!
Did you have any weird and wonderful cravings?
It was actually a combination of weird and wonderful. From KFC daily to party jollof rice, at a point, it was strictly bread or noodles and eggs. I had little or no cravings in my third trimester so I was able to stick to a healthy diet.
What did you struggle with most being pregnant?
I struggled with heart burns a lot, it was so bad that I spent so many nights trying to sleep by sitting up, I just couldn’t lay down.
How was your birth experience?
My birth experience was AMAZING! I was watching movies and eating Chinese rice and pizza I didn’t even know I was contracting till later that night. In 3 pushes my baby boy came out! I thank God it was very smooth labor and delivery.
